Veterinary Nurses
Tara Ryan – Head Veterinary Nurse
Tara is our Head nurse and has been qualified since 2007. She came to join Beaumont in 2009 after spending the first 9 years of her career at a small animal practice in Norfolk.
She feels very strongly about promoting responsible dog ownership and try’s to do so by delivering the most up to date advice on preventative health care and training at our puppy parties and in our free nurse’s clinics. She has just started working towards a degree in canine behaviour at Middlesex university.
Tara is doing a 100k trek in Tanzania this summer to raise money for the Blue Cross animal charity so she is currently spending her spare time either in the gym or trekking the Oxfordshire countryside!
In her spare time Tara enjoys taking her Boxer dog Wilson to agility training and competitions.
Sarah Allen – Veterinary Nurse
Sarah is one of our qualified nurses and started working with us in January 2010.
She has a strong interest in anaesthesia and has a flatcoated retriever called Lady and a rescue horse from the charity Blue Cross called Mandela.
Katie Alder – Veterinary Nurse
Katie joined the team in June 2008 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in December 2009.
She has 2 rescue dogs, and a rescue cat which was bought into the vets as a stray. She enjoys walking her dogs and trying to tire them out! Katie enjoys travelling abroad, and is especially looking forward to a charity trek in Africa.
She has a particular interest in dentistry and weight management, and hopes to further her career and knowledge in these areas.
Emma Mundy – Veterinary Nurse
Emma qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 at a practice in Windsor, Veterinary Nursing was and still is what she had always wanted to do.
Emma married, moved to Oxfordshire and started working at Beaumont Veterinary Group as our Head Nurse. Emma now has a young family so is only able to work 1 day a week with us but her help during that day is invaluable, she loves her job the team of people she works with and feels very lucky that she is still part of Beaumont after starting her family.
Emma has a 12yr old yellow Labrador called Elsa and the 3 Guinea Pigs, Hermione, Poppy and Sharpay.
Carla Orszulik – Student Veterinary Nurse
Carla is our second year student veterinary nurse and has been at Beaumont for 3 years.
She has a very special cat called Jade who is very old and unwell so a lot of Carla’s time is dedicated to looking after her.
When Carla gets the chance she likes to play pool/snooker and loves going to see her favourite bands live.
Auxilliary Staff
Jade Douglas - Auxiliary Nurse
Jade has been at Beaumont for 7 years now, and is our full time nurse based at the Headington branch of Beaumont.
She has a real passion for animals and owns 4 dogs, 2 cats, chickens and a hamster.
Sarah Loakes – Auxiliary Nurse
Sarah Loakes joined Beaumont in January 2001 as a Receptionist. Sarah now works part time assisting our nursing team.
Rosanna Higgs – Animal Care Assistant
Rosanna has worked in this practice as an animal care assistant since January 2007 and is based at our Kidlington branch.
She has recently acquired 2 rabbits and enjoys going out with her friends.
