Jaco Booyse BVSc (Pret) MRCVS (OV) (Clinical Director)
Jaco Qualified in 1994 from Onderstepoort in South Africa. He spent another year in post graduate study for his Masters degree in Poultry Health and Nutrition, but the opportunity of a lifetime to work for the Royal Family of Dubai cut his academic plans short.
He subsequently spent 10 years in the Middle East working not only with falcons, poultry and domestic pets, but also big cats, primates, monkeys and various exotics.
He rates his exposure and training in the genetic engineering and embryo transfer work done with the Camel and Llama cross-breeding programme to create the ‘Cama’ as one of his highlights.
Bentley his Bengal cat keeps him occupied when not at work and in his free time he enjoys waterskiing and wake boarding.
